Art Restoration
Mahmood is experienced in restoring works of art, antiques, and valueable objects. In addition to restoring paintings, he has worked on artifact of ceramic, clay and wood. An example of his art restoration work is presented below.
THE BILTMORE Hotel mural restoration project
The original painting was produced by the ACME artists in the early 80's. The 16 feet x 18 feet canvas was featured prominenty in the hotel lobby. The 1994 earthquake ripped this painting apart and caused severe damage.
Mahmood was commissioned to restore it back to its original state. The restoration process took approximately 3 months to finish.
